The Foundation Course

The Goal
To bring every believer to basic understanding of Christian principles.
Description
The foundation course will bring new believers to a deeper understanding of basic Biblical beliefs. It also serves to orient new members to the particular scriptural approaches of our church.
The Bible is the handbook for the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ, and a believer must be familiar with its teaching for them to achieve spiritual success. This course gives a broad overview of the Bible's teaching about subjects such as faith, prayer, church participation, truth, salvation, and much more. Each lesson is a Bible Study about that week's particular topic.
Participation
The Foundation Course is available to those who wish to become members of The Church Triumphant. Church members who wish to strengthen their Biblical knowledge are also welcome. Students should have completed a survey-type Bible study such as "Search for the Truth" or "Exploring God's Word." Approval by the Pastor is also required.
Objectives
By the end of the course, the student should be able to:

Easily find scripture references in all of the book of the Bible.

Explain or defend basics principles of salvation, worship & praise, Bible Study, prayer, and other teachings.

Describe daily requirements for life as a Christian.

Describe attitudes and lifestyles most appropriate for a believer.

Quickly locate key scriptures about common Bible teachings.
