Our goal is to see them grow and develop their talents and abilities within the safe and secure environment of the church.
“That they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments…” Psalm 78:7, NKJV
Children are vitally important to the Body of Christ and the growth of His Church. They are hungry for a true encounter with the Living God, and their desire is to be taught how they can become daily participants in His glory and power. Therefore, we endeavor to set the bar a little higher in order to ensure that each child can find a way to connect with the lesson of the day by using fun-filled, exciting activities. We do this by utilizing various methods of ministry such as puppets, action songs, worship, prayer, storytelling and drama, sign language, games, children’s choir, Bible quizzing, teaching, and many other activities.
Sunday mornings begin with forty-five minutes of Sunday School classes for ages 4-11. Immediately following, all classes then come together in the Kid’s Power Zone for a great time of worship that is definitely kid-style…loud, fun, and Spirit-filled!
Our Shekinah Kids Prayer group meets on the first, second, and fourth Sunday evenings of each month. During this time, we learn about prayer, but by lesson and doing. These are power-packed sessions during which the children enter into the presence of God through worship, praise, and prayer.
Wednesday evenings are for a small group meeting which alternates between discipleship, character-building, and ministry classes.
In addition to these weekly activities, we also have annual events such as our Children’s Choir Christmas program, Vacation Bible School and Festival, Fall Family Crusade, and Harvest Party. Oh, and because children love activity, we also take frequent family outings such as bowling, roller skating, zoo trips, fishing tournaments, Family Game Nights and much, much more.

Attending worship service on Sunday has long been a religious tradition. In 2 Corinthians 2:14 we read, "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of His knowledge by us in every place." At The Church Triumphant, church is not a tradition, but rather a vibrant life that awaits you. >>Read More
